Windsor 2026 Day Seven
We prayed for a few hours after youth was done and this was all led by our students who were all in tears and praying for one another.
Windsor 2026 Day Six
For dinner we went back to Feeding Windsor for their community supper and some of us helped served the meal while the rest of us sat with people and had dinner and good conversations with them.
Windsor 2026 Day Five
While we were there, we heard really cool stories that were both impactful, as well as they made us have compassion for them.
Windsor 2026 Day Four
We left around 8:40am and headed off to UHC to help make food bags for the local food banks in Windsor. We filled over 200+bags which was really nice getting to learn new things.
Windsor 2026 Day 3
We were at the park for about 5 hours and we built about 29 garden boxes!
Windsor 2026 Day Two
Pastor Darrell preached the parable of the king’s wedding, Matthew 22:1-14.
Windsor 2026 Day One
We are so thankful for our amazing team, we can’t wait to spend the week with them.
Windsor 2025 Day Seven
Our last stop was a community kitchen that the team last year helped clean and get running.
Windsor 2025 Day Six
We started our morning a little later than usual because of our late night yesterday (and Kathryn forgot to wake the girls up 😉).
Windsor 2025 Day Five
When we arrived, they gave us instructions for the day. We split in teams and sorted the food by different categories with many people taking on different roles.
Windsor 2025 Day Four
Today in the morning we headed to the House of Hope which is a women’s shelter that has about 8-10 ladies living in the home.
Windsor 2025 Day Three
Hello everyone! Today we woke up in the morning and we couldn’t shower because the water was broken, but thankfully a man from the church fixed it!
Windsor 2025 Day Two
We learned about a woman’s story about her journey with cancer and how she had to rely on God’s strength…
Windsor 2025 Day One
Hey from the 2025 Windsor missions team! After we packed the vans, we spent some time in prayer before our journey.
Windsor 2024 Day Seven
What’s up everyone, this was our last full day in Windsor, and it was AMAZING! And a great way to end our week. We had a nice late start this morning so we were able to get through two pages in our devo books, one was Galatians 6:9 about not giving up and to keep doing what we are doing because we never know how God might be using us!
Windsor 2024 Day Six
Today was a total blast nearing the end of the week. To start off the morning we woke up, had showers, and ate a bomb breakfast. We’re talking muffins, Shreddies, fruit, and coffee (only for the old folks). Then we did morning devotions and focused on 1 Thessalonians 5:11 where we looked at encouraging one another.
Windsor 2024 Day Five
Howdy! We started our morning off with a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Yum yum yum! Then, we did our daily morning devo’s led by Mitch and Abby. Today we had to roll out at 8:45 for our longer drive of the week to UHC (a food bank distribution warehouse).
Windsor 2024 Day Four
Hello blog readers! Today started off with a nice breakfast with the team followed by our daily devotions and prayer. First stop on our journey was a place called house of hope; a home used to help shelter lower income women get back on their feet.
Windsor 2024 Day Three
Day three we started off we woke up to go down and eat breakfast which was basically a free for all. Afterward, we did our DEVO’s and that was mind opening. We then started our journey to the soup kitchen to help restore the place by removing trash and cleaning the walls from grease.
Windsor 2024 Day Two
This morning, we went to Ambassador Community Church for our morning service. It was a different kind of service from what we normally have back home at Compass, but it was still fun. After the service they had a potluck for us where we met a lot of new people and had great food.
