Windsor 2026 Day Seven

Today the boys woke up at 6:30am to eat breakfast and get ready to leave the church for 7:15am to get our hot showers. After that we went to DWCC for a presentation on how they are impacting the community in so many ways. They explained their vision and what they plan to do by next year. Then we went back to the church to have some free time to play in the gym. Then we went to a different church to help DWCC with a soccer program just like we did on Wednesday. Tymon went to Feeding Windsor to go get our lunch which was hamburgers and fries, which he then brought back to us, so we took turns eating in small groups while the others kept leading with the soccer drills and games. Then we went back to Parkwood to change, and since we had some free time we went to a local park and enjoyed the nice warm weather which we had been dying for all week long! After dinner we went back to Parkwood to join their Sr High youth group. At the start of youth, we played a group game of four-square dodge ball and doctor dodgeball. After that we went to the Chapel for worship which was followed by their youth pastor Sarah who went up to preach about relationships. Then we had more worship which all the mission’s team ended up either crying or being filled with the holy spirit. After youth everybody prayed for each other, and we also prayed for the community. This was the most connected the team was with each other and God we had felt all week.

Quick note from Tymon: We prayed for a few hours after youth was done and this was all led by our students who were all in tears and praying for one another. Praise God for such a beautiful and powerful moment, and I encourage you to ask the team members about it!
