Day 1 - Trip to Windsor

On this very beautiful morning we all met at the Compass Community Church, everyone was super excited to go and serve in Windsor. We all prayed and packed up the vans and headed off to Windsor!
YEAHHHHH!!!
During the first half of the car ride we did some ice breakers to bond with the group and also sang along to a very wide variety of music (including a lot of 70s music). Next we stopped at an OnRoute to get some lunch (Olivia had Subway, Wade had chicken strips, and Gabe had ice cream) After taking a bit of a stretch break we all hopped back in the van and continued our voyage to Windsor.
In the second half we all listened to more music, and shouted to the other van through the walkie talkie. After about two hours we finished the ride, we all got out at and stretched our legs before we unpacked everything and got set up. We also took a tour of Campbell Baptist Church and then got PIZZA!!!!! We all ate together and talked about everything we will be doing through the week.
During the schedule run through, Rod put everyone asleep because he was boring. (** Editors note: To be honest, 1 student MAY have been drifting off, and it was my daughter… so far from everyone! lol)
For the rest of the night we played board games and hung out together.
But that’s the end of day one!!!!
