Compass Kids is a ministry created with your child in mind.
Sundays at 9:00 am & 11:00 AM (Orangeville)
Sundays at 10:00 am (shelburne)
We have a deep desire that children would not only experience what it means to know and follow Jesus Christ but even more that they would become His disciples. Each week the environment and age-appropriate teaching methods are designed to help your kids understand the Bible and learn to apply its teaching to their lives. A monthly take-home sheet is also available for each age group.
Children in nursery through senior kindergarten use curriculum from Orange
Children in grades 1-5 are taught from Gospel Light.
First time at Compass Kids?
When you arrive, head to the Compass Kids Check-In Centre (if you don’t see the sign, ask a greeter to lead you there). Your kids will be checked in, and you’ll receive instructions from there. Once you are registered you will receive a set of stickers with a family identification number for you and your child. Our registration volunteers will help you get you registered and your children to the right room.
If for some reason your child were to need you during the service, your family identification code from your registration sticker will appear on the display in the auditorium. Head to the nursery or upstairs and one of our leaders bring you to your child.
We know your child’s safety is important to you and we share that concern. From matching parent and child security tags to ensuring every volunteer is screened with an interview, reference checks, and criminal background check, we have aimed to make Compass Kids a safe and fun place for your child to learn about God. We also have security volunteers in place in the halls of both locations.
