Day 1 - Saturday - On The Road To Windsor

Hey from the 2024 Windsor missions team! After we were packed and sent off by the loving parents, we began our long trek down to Windsor! The bus ride was filled with lots of laughter, music, dancing, thought provoking questions and reflections, full (candy) tummies and of course a good ole game of Pharisees. Upon arrival we began to swiftly unpack and to organize the rooms and then followed up with a wonderfully guided tour by the esteemed Olivia. After everyone was fully oriented to the new space, we had a pizza party while Tymon and Kathryn “adulted” by grocery shopping. Meanwhile, Olivia and Jacob lead devotionals and a small group study. Reading and reflecting on how we should put our trust in the Lord encouraged and affirmed the group, which was heartwarming to see and be apart of. We are all excited to begin our work down here tomorrow and are off to bed after a tiring day. Can’t wait to update you all further with our amazing experiences we are sure to witness at the hands of God. We continue to ask for prayers for good rest, good health, and a good time!
